Hepcivir Mechanism of action:
Sofosbuvir is a film coated tablet and it’s a type of DAA known as nucleotide polymerase inhibitor It perform by Inhibiting enzyme RNA polymerase Replication process is performed by the cellular workers(RNA polymerase) Sofosbuvir stops the multiplication of virus and reduce the quanity of hepatitis virus in the liver Reduce liver damage there by improve liver function.
Hepcivir Dosage and Administration:
Dose recommended for hepcvir medicine is one tablet of 400mg, OD (once daily)taken orally given along with food or without.Duration for genotype 1 or 4 and 2 (CHC) is 12 weeks and Genotype 3 (CHC) is 24 weeks.
Hepcvir is used to treat Chronic HCV infection with compensated cirrhosis or without cirrhosis in adult. Sofosbuvir is a well tolerated and highly effective to reduce the load of hepatitis C virus in the liver This drug recover the liver from infection due to HCV

Consult your docter if you have any irritation by taking Sofosbuvir or any other drug. Hepcvir contain inactive ingredient it will cause allergic problem.
Hepcvir 400 mg tablet should store below 30°C.
Should be placed in cool and dry place
It should be packed in original container with sealed cap
Incorrect storage will affect efficacy and shelf life.
