RESOF Mechanism of action:
Resof is a nucleotide polymerase inhibitor. include in type of direct acting antiviral agent(DAA). It acts by preventing the cellular works (RNA polymerase enzyme) which involves in reproduction process. This blocks the multiplying and reduce the amount of Hep C virus in the liver.Resof decrease the liver damage and betters the liver function.
RESOF Dosage and Administration:
Usually adult dose for the treatment of CHC(Chronic Hepatitis C) is 400mg once in a day, oral route.
Sofosbuvir is used with antiviral drugs in order to cure Chronic Hep C virus in the body in adult.
